ASEAN Promotion Centre on Trade, Investment and Tourism (ASEAN Centre) will participate for the first time in the "Japan Home Show 2000," which will be held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Hall (Tokyo Big Sight; November 14 (Tue) to 17 (Fri), 2000). ASEAN Centre will invite total 31 exhibitors from 7 member countries of ASEAN Centre and show visitors the real "ASEAN Quality" at the site.

"ASEAN Quality," which means never able to be obtained in Japan, is produced when abundant natural resources available in tropical climate and high technique were applied, combined with traditional and cultural elements that harmonise together. Exhibitors are able to introduce their products to customers with confidence because they manufacture the products by themselves. And they also have received enormous reliability in their home countries.

We are confident that visitors will satisfy with the 31 companies presentation that is introduced by ASEAN Centre are recommended by the Trade Promotion Organisations of the member countries. Although the word "construction materials" consists of two words, it covers a wide range of products. Moreover, every company not only acts as a trader but also as a total service company. For example, a marble processing company collects raw materials, processes and distributes the products by itself. A prefabricated-house company also receives integrated orders, designs with CAD, produces and assembles the products.
