September 6 - 9, 2005 at Tokyo Big Sight

The ASEAN-Japan Centre participated in "The 60th Tokyo International Gift Show Autumn 2005" under the Special Exhibition Programme. The various items of 34 exhibitors from nine member countries with wide range of culture and tradition were exhibited with our theme of "Unity in Diversity." With unified images of ASEAN countries, the Centre introduced various ASEAN gifts and houseware items and the exhibitors received an overwhelming number of visitors and inquiries during the 4-day show. ASEAN's participation in the exhibition obtained excellent results (over 1,000 meetings), which are expected to further expand the business between ASEAN countries and Japan.
